I've NEVER been to a chuck-e-cheeses that I liked, that is until this one. All the rest were dingy and brokendown. This one was nice. Almost like new (I think it was.) Dampness? Oh, that would send me screaming! Pump it up did a great job of keeping the place clean, and I loved the mega-bottle of hand sanitizer that floated around. They aren't that hygenic; I think they beleive the parents are going to be forced to go so it doesn't matter AND there are always people around without kids... creepy! When the kids got old enough, I couldn't wait to take them to Chuck E Cheese. I had such great memories of CEC! But, once I got there, the place was a filthy! Lots of food scraps around the floor and aged cups of pop in convenient resting places from days gone by. The Boy was about 5 at the time and he wanted to go into the ball pit, but a parent had to go with him. Since we had to take our shoes off, I discovered there was a 'dampness' on the unseen floor of the pit. I still shudder at the thought. “Kid Targeted” places worry me.
