I'm always a tad self-conscious when taking pictures of a place. Not only because of what the people working there might be thinking but the other people eating. They always look at you funny. When people ask my standard line is "I have no short-term memory so I take pictures to remember what I do each day." Then of course I tell them the truth and hand them one of my business cards. Yeah, it’s happened to me a couple of times now. I’m always a tad self-conscious when taking pictures of a place. Unless there is no way around it and I have to ask permission up front, I always try and be as stealthy as possible. First because I want to get the pictures to write the story that *I* want to tell and secondly, if management finds out you are doing this for something that will be in the public eye (like on a blog), I am always worried that I will get treated differently than someone who wasn't posting their experience on the Internet. I don't think that is what happened in your case, but I know it is something that I always worry about. I'm glad to hear your experience at Papa Gyro's was great. They definitely do gyros and fries pretty decently. The last time I went (last year some time), I did find some of their other items were eh, so-so.
